Store Manager

FillMeUp convenience store chain is growing and is looking for a great store manager to join the team at South West Minneapolis MN.

Store Managers at FillMeUp are expected to lead their team to success by training their staff members effectively every day and by giving them opportunity to grow, learn and develop their skills. Your primary goal will be to set a positive tone and encourage the best customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A STORE MANAGER
  • Lead day to day store operations including scheduling, training, supervising staff, overseeing outstanding food service and coffee program.
  • Work with District Manager to select and train an Assistant Manager/Manager with the goal of being able to run a store.
  • Recruit, hire, train and motivate positive individuals to become members of the team.
  • Work to understand store profit drivers and controllable expenses including labor and cash/inventory variances.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a positive manner utilizing office and management support staff when necessary.
  • Work to resolve any staff member matters in a timely and professional manner. Utilize office and management support staff when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to ensure store cleanliness standards are met.
  • Determine and support proper staffing during more demanding parts of the day/week/year.
  • Follow merchandising and vendor policies/procedures and ensure that all staff members do the same.
  • Ensure all merchandise is stocked and rotated, displays are attractive and priced correctly. Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the Price book and Marketing Departments.
  • Have the ability, availability and flexibility to perform established expectations of a staff member regularly, including covering shifts when necessary to ensure smooth store
  • Maintain the ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances in a fast-paced
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least one year in a supervisory/management role
  • Retail and/or food service experience is required
  • Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Background check and Drug testing
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Basic computer skills

Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job functions:

Store Cashier Job

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.

Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, gift-wrapping packages and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons

Store Deli Manager

The Deli Manager is responsible for the overall management of the kitchen staff including training and scheduling of workers, organization of supplies and equipment as well as preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served/produced while complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure successful completion of all opening/closing duties.
  • Oversee all staff for quality of cooking, performance, and scheduling.
  • Oversee the execution of recipes for hot items, cold case, grab & go and seasonal items; the process of using only typed, approved recipes to cook from, and all created recipes are submitted for approval to the Food Service Director.
  • May serve as back up cook as needed
  • Ensure to stay within the COG budget at all times.
  • Ensure deli area and back room stay clean at all times.
  • Do weekly/monthly meal planning for hot case, cold case, grab & go case and seasonal changes.
  • Make and orchestrate task schedule for cleaning.
  • Ensure Recipe Books: Must be typed; One for Deli and One for Office.
  • Perform the following duties: receive all deliveries and ensure proper rotation, pull items from freezer before needed, strip cooler every two days, taste as many recipes as possible checking for quality, control and limit production of cold case recipes, layout soup and hot case specials one week in advance, check grab & go, special orders and catering must be pre-approved, figure waste for month, all items taken from store must be checked out through the cash register.
  • Train staff to be alert to help customers at all times.
  • Establish purchasing and labor goals.
  • Hold deli meetings with deli staff
  • Attend mandatory monthly store meetings.
  • May guide and give direction to other deli teams as needed

Store Shift Manager

A shift manager is a middle management position, with the responsibility of overseeing a number of subordinate employees during a certain period of time. Position Description
